Please plan to join us on 1/23/11, Sunday, for the first meeting of the Houston Peace Council at 1pm at the Chapultepec Restaurant located at 813 Richmond Ave. The restaurant is located just east of Montrose on Richmond.

This will be the first formal meeting of the HPC, so come be a part of Houston Peace history.

Our agenda will include three important items and we welcome everybody’s participation from all points of view. The items we will discuss will include:

1. The January 25 protest of the FBI repression of peace activists in Chicago and Minneapolis

2. The possibility of having a speaker from Radio Havana, Cuba, Bernie Dwyer, come to Houston.

3. The possibility of having an art exhibit by Cuban 5 artist, Antonio Guerrero come to Houston

Please join us for a lively discussion of these very important events and be part of the official founding of the Houston Peace Council.
