“He [U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders] is the rarest of Washington animals, a completely honest person. If he’s motivated by anything other than a desire to use his influence to protect people who can’t protect themselves, I’ve never seen it, “  writes in his article in ROLLINGSTONE.
(1) Bernie speaks the truth about himself and about others because completely honest persons are truthful.
(2) Can the bourgeois democracy in the USA tolerate a truthful person in government?
(3) Bernie has been in government for a long time — US senator, US Congressman, and mayor of Burlington, Vermont.
(4) If elected president, will he act in accordance with the truth?
(5) Matt Taibbi article shows that Bernie acts in accordance with truth as he currently serves in the Senate. The article further shows that Bernie acted in accordance with truth when he earlier served as congressman and mayor.
(6) Have voters ever voted for a completely honest person?
(7) Not lately.
